Applicable to X431 PAD VII, X431 PAD VII ELITE

NOTE: In addition to dedicated X431 heavy-duty truck diagnostic equipment (such as PRO3S+ HD, PRO3 V+ HD), other X431 diagnostic tools require the purchase of an adapter and license to enable 24V heavy-duty truck diagnostics (these tools can still be used after the truck software subscription expires, but no new software updates will be provided).
Type 1. Devices that do not come with SmartLink as standard with purchase:

Type 2. Devices that come standard with SmartLink upon purchase:

Electric Vehicle (EV) Diagnostic Function Subscription
Except for the CRP919 EV specifically designed for EV diagnostics (CRP919 EV subscriptions can be renewed by purchasing XNR-SS434 after expiration), other X431 diagnostic tools require the purchase of an EV Diagnostic Upgrade Kit and a license to enable EV diagnostics:

After purchasing the EV diagnostic adapter and license, you can still use the EV diagnostic function even after your free subscription expires, but you will not be able to update to the latest software. To renew your EV diagnostic software subscription, you need to purchase the LAUNCH X431 EV Diagnostic Subscription [1 year] (Item No. XNR-SS434).
ECU Programming Software Subscription (standalone version)
This subscription service applies to the LAUNCH X431 ECU & TCU Programmer / XPROG3 + PC Adaptor.

NOTE: The LAUNCH X431 IMMO ELITE does not support advanced system diagnostics, ECU coding, active testing, and guided functions, while the IMMO PLUS does. Purchasing the [Upgrade service for IMMO Elite to IMMO PLUS] will give the IMMO ELITE the same functionality as the IMMO PLUS.

The X431 IMMO function is applicable to XPROG3 compatible devices: X431 PRO3 series, X431 PAD series, CRP919EBT/CRP919XBT, and some X431 PRO series devices. For example: X431 PAD VII(Elite), X431 PAD V(ELITE), X431 PRO5, X431 PRO3S+ V5.0, X431 PRO3S+ ELITE, X431 (PRO3) V+ V5.0, X431 PRO3 V+ ELITE, X431 PROS ELITE, X431 PRO3 APEX, X431 PRO3 ACE, X431 PRP TT, X431 PRO3 DYNO, etc.
After activation, Those Scanner will have the same immobilizer function as X431 IMMO PLUS or IMMO ELITE.
LAUCNH X431 ADAS Function License
The LAUCNH X431 ADAS function requires an ADAS calibration device to function, the LAUNCH X431 ADAS calibration device is the X431 ADAS PRO PLUS, which is usually sold by offline distributors. The X431 ADAS function license can be purchased online.
This LAUCNH X431 ADAS Function License is applicable to the X431 PRO3 series, X431 PAD series, and some X431 PRO series models, such as X431 PAD VII (ELITE), X431 PAD V (ELITE), X431 PRO5, X431 PRO3S+ V5.0, X431 PRO3S+ ELITE, X431 (PRO3) V+ V5.0, X431 PRO3 V+ ELITE, X431 IMMO PLUS, X431 PROS ELITE, X431 PRO3 APEX, X431 PRO3 ACE, X431 PRP TT, X431 PRO3 DYNO, etc.
LAUNCH X431 SGW License
The LAUNCH X431 SGW license is applicable to the LAUNCH X431 PRO3 series, X431 PAD series, and CRP919EBT/CRP919XBT.
NOTE: Renault SGW requires the device to support the DoIP protocol. X431 devices with SmartLink standard support the DoIP protocol directly, while X431 devices without SmartLink require a DoIP adapter cable. As of November 2025, when this article was written, the LAUNCH X431 SGW license can be broadly categorized into two software packages based on region (your region is determined by the IP address you use to log into your LAUNCH device):
1. For users outside Europe (without Mercedes 1-year license), the price is $899:
- FCA & Maserati 1-year license;
- Renault and Dacia (20 times/time);
- VAG 1-year license (new).
2. European users (with Mercedes 1-year license) price is $1151:
- FCA & Maserati 1-year license
- Mercedes 1-year license
- Renault and Dacia (20 times/time)
- VAG 1-year license (new)
Important: Using an FCA SGW license requires registering an SGW account. Please refer to [LAUNCH X431 FCA SGW Activation Guide (2025 Update)].
The LAUNCH X431 SGW license does not come with a renewal card and can only be purchased through the X431 device at “MALL”.
LAUNCH X431 Motorcycle Diagnostics License
Motorcycle Diagnostic requires the purchase of the X431 Motorcycle Diagnostic Connection Kit and license, and is compatible with the X431 PRO3 series, X431 PAD series, CRP919EBT/CRP919XBT, and some X431 PRO series.
LAUNCH SmartLink Remote Diagnosis Activation Card
LAUNCH SmartLink has different charging policies for the B-end and the C-end.
For Smartlink C, two types of remote diagnosis top-up cards are available:
- Annual Subscription Card: Unlimited usage for 1 year.
- Usage-Based Top-Up Card: Charges apply per remote diagnosis session.
For Smartlink B, only one payment option is available:
- Annual Subscription Card (Product Code: 301180823): Valid for 1 year. Renewal is required after expiration.
