This is a tutorial on how to program Ford(2015-) Taurus smart key with LAUNCH X431 IMMO PLUS by OBD. This method also works with X431 IMMO ELITE, X431 IMMO PRO.
- Generate Remote
Read the chip type first and then generate the corresponding key.
It’s transponder 49, NCF795xF chip.
Connect to X431 IMMO Key Programmer,
Vehicle remote >> Ford >> Bronco(2020) ID49 315M >> Generate
Burn successfully.
Ford >> Anti-Theft Key Matching >> Automatically Search
Set Ignition Switch To ON(Position II).
Confirm VIN, click YES.
- Check Key Count
Immobilizer System Function(Expert Edition) >> PATS(Passive Anti-Theft System) Programming
This application enables programming of vehicle keys and matching of the components of the immobiliser system.
Click YES.
Count keys >> OK
The number of keys programmed to the vehicle is: 3.
- Erase Keys
Erase Keys >> YES
This routine will erase the vehicle keys.
All of the customers keys must be present and the minimum number of keys required is two.
Procedure successful.
A minimum of 0 key must be programmed to the vehicle.
- Program Key
Program Key
Click OK.
Key already programmed.
Place the key to be programmed onto the backup tranceiver.
Refer to the owners guide for the correct location.
Key already programmed.
- Initialize Module
Module Initialization(Parameter Reset)
Turn ignition to ON(Pos II)
Turn ignition to OFF(Pos 0)
Turn ignition to ON(Pos II)
Turn ignition to OFF(Pos 0)
Procedure Complete.
This is using X431 IMMO PLUS to program 2015 Ford Taurus smart key successfully.
