Launch X431 IMMO Plus + Key Programmer Adds Buick Enclave Key

This is a tutorial on how to add a 2020 Buick Enclave smart key with Launch X431 IMMO Plus + X431 Key Programmer by OBD. For users who are using X431 IMMO Elite or IMMO PRO can follow the below steps as well.

 

Step1. Generate Key

• Key Programmer >> Update

Check if the software is latest version.

 

• Put the original key into X431 Key Programmer key slot.

Read Transponder >> Read Transponder

Remember the original key chip type is Transponder 46.

 

• Enter “Frequency Detection”.

Put the original key next to X431 Key Programmer, press remote control button to identify the key frequency.

 

• Put the new key into X431 Key Programmer to generate.

Vehicle Remote >> Buick >> All remotes >> Enclave(2018-2019) KeylessGo ID46 433 >> Generate

Burn successfully.

 

Step2. Add Key

After successful generation, open anti-theft software to add key.

IMMO >> GM >> OK >> Anti-Theft Key Matching >> Manually Select(via Model) >> Buick >> (L)2020 >> Enclave >> Anti-Theft Key Matching >> Smart Key >> Add Smart Key

 

Operate as X431 IMMO Plus prompted:

Turn on ignition.

(Turn the key to ON position. For push-start vehicle, please long press the start button for 5-10s to turn ignition on.)

Please press Start/Stop button.

 

Put the smart key to be matched into the key slot. Take other smart keys out of the car.

The key slot is generally located as follows:

1. In the armrest box.
2. Below the saucer.
3. Near to the ash pan.
4. In the button-type box.

 

Please input 4 digit PIN: 1234

Please turn off ignition.

Please press Start/Stop button.

Programmed key number: 2

 

Current key is programmed well.

If you want to program next key? No

Please press start button for 12s…

Please release Start button.

 

Press and hold the start button until the ignition is on and instrument panel lights on.

(If instrument lights are off, please release start button and repeat operation.)

Please turn off ignition.

Press the brake, press START button to start the engine.

Please turn off ignition.

 

Information:

1. Turn off engine.
2. Open driver door and then close driver door.
3. Take out the smart key. Press simultaneously the lock and unlock buttons, and release them.

 

If you want to synchronize other keys? No

Programmed key number: 2

Program completed.
