Operation process:
1. Receiving a Remote Request
A user using LAUNCH SmartLink C submits a remote assistance request.
A technician using SmartLink B will connect and pair with SmartLink C via code connection.
2. Full Vehicle Quick Scan
Connect the official McLaren diagnostic tool to SmartLink B. Run a full vehicle quick scan to identify fault codes.
3. Clearing Fault Codes
Access the left and right door control modules.
Clear all existing fault codes.
4. Window Calibration
First, enter the calibration sequence for the vehicle’s left door windows.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the calibration. Repeat the above steps for the right door to complete the calibration.
5. Programming the VIN
After the door calibration is complete, re-enter the calibration sequence and successfully program the vehicle’s VIN.
6. Final Automatic Calibration
On the calibration screen, click [Start].
All vehicle windows will automatically move up and down to complete the calibration.
