As you can see, the X431 Key Programmer and LAUNCH XPROG3 are tools for different purposes:
The X431 Key Programmer is only used for key generation and detection and does not support other functions;
The XPROG3 cannot be used for key generation, but it supports functions such as key programming and ECU programming.

NOTE: The standard package of the LAUNCH X431 IMMO tool (X431 IMMO ELITE/IMMO PLUS) includes the XPROG3 tool, but the X431 Key Programmer needs to be purchased separately.
NOTE 2: The new LAUNCH X431 G5 (not yet available for sale) not only supports the functions of the XPROG3, but can also completely replace the X431 Key Programmer for key generation.
