Question: I have a LAUNCH X431 PRO5 and an XPROG5, and I want to clone the ECU from a 2025 Opel Corsa F with a 1.5 HDi diesel engine. The ECU model is Bosch MD1CS003 (Bosch part number 0 281 039 556).
I tested the ECU but was unable to read the data. How can I use the LAUNCH XPROG5 to read and write this MD1CS003 ECU?
Solution:
Select the MG1CS031 H80 (Locked) menu and connect according to the wiring diagram below.
You must use the XPROG5 (G5) PC ECU software and the RH850 adapter. Ensure you are using the latest version of the ECU software (V10.70 or higher).
