I used LAUNCH CRP919E to diagnose Chrysler Hybrid vehicles (2021 Voyager/ Pacifica), successfully read the vehicle identification number (VIN), and unlocked the SGW (I have an SGW license). But the function icons and vehicle logo are grayed out, and I can’t download the electric vehicle software. Now I can’t do anything except read the vehicle VIN code. How can I solve it?
Solution:
LAUNCH CRP919E does not support hybrid vehicles. Currently, there are two options for LAUNCH X431 to diagnose electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles:
Use LAUNCH CRP919 EV tool;
Use LAUNCH X431 PAD series tool/ PRO5/ PRO3 series tool (PRO3S+, PRO3 ACE, etc.) + LAUNCH X431 EV Diagnostic Upgrade Kit (including Activation Card).
