After the vehicle adjusts the tire air pressure, the tire pressure monitoring system must be initialized. If this operation is not performed, the system may not accurately trigger the alarm. Some vehicles can perform tire pressure initialization through the vehicle’s own function, or use the LAUNCH comprehensive diagnostic tool to perform tire pressure initialization.
The tire pressure initialization function needs to be performed after performing the following operations:
1. After adjusting the tire air pressure.
2. Replace tires or perform rotation operations.
3. After using the vehicle tire puncture emergency repair kit.
