LAUNCH X431 vehicle diagnostics usually have dozens of special functions. This time we will take Audi vehicles as an example to introduce how to use one of the special functions: window initialization (when the windows/sunroof cannot be used normally, initialize the window settings).

Fault description:
Audi A4L window cannot use the one-button lift function. The fault code is: B148754 (window regulator motor-no basic settings). Use this function to make basic settings.

Operation process:
1) Select “42 door electronics driver side”.
2) Click “OK” to continue.
3) Select “02 read DTC”.
4) The fault code is: B148754 window lift motor-no basic settings, the fault code is active/ static, and the fault code cannot be deleted.
5) Select “04 Basic Settings”.
6) Function list.
7) Select “Front Window Regulator, Driver Side”.
8) Click the “Adjust” button.
9) Basic settings are running.
10) The fault code status changes from “active/static” to “passive/Abiogenesis”.
11) Click “Yes” to clear the fault code.
12) Click “Yes” to read DTC again.
13) There is no fault code in the system, and the window has a key Regulator function.
