LAUNCH X431 V+ and V Pro have a lot in common since they share the same software and hardware. But, there are four key differences that set them apart:
Topology map: V+ introduced the awesome Topology Mapping feature in May 2023. You can enjoy this feature for free by updating your scanners to V 7.00.012. V Pro doesn’t have this function.
Heavy-duty truck supported: V+ can handle 24V trucks when combined with the HD module(to access this function, you need to purchase the HD module extra). This cool feature is not available on V Pro.
Screen size: V+ has a generous 10.1″ screen, while V Pro has an 8″ screen. So, if you prefer a larger display, V+ is the way to go!
Battery capacity: V+ boasts a powerful 7,000mAh battery, providing longer usage time. On the other hand, V Pro’s battery capacity is 5,000mAh.
Now, LAUNCH X431 PRO3S Plus is an updated product of V Pro, with a 10.1-inch screen and compatible 24V Heavy Truck Module with the HD III module. The only difference from X431 V+ is the Topology map function.
Topology Map:
It’s an exclusive feature on V+ introduced in May 2023. With this colorful map, you can have a full view of your car’s module system, making problem-solving a breeze.
This way, you can quickly determine where to start to find out your car problems.
