This is a tutorial on how to do BMW 328i F34 control module coding with Launch X431 PAD7 after EPS(Electronic Power Steering) replacement.
Problem:
After replacing EPS, the BMW steering tide is not working and EPS warning light is on. The X431 PAD VII gives 2 trouble codes:
4823CB – EPS: No current coding data stored.
4823CC – PSC: Control unit is not encoded for the vehicle.
Coding/programming >> Coding >> EPS(Electronic Power Steering)
Prompt:
Encoding takes a long time.
Press “Yes” to continue.
Press “F020-18-11-568*”.
EPS coding, please wait…
Recoding has been completed.
Go back to Clear DTCs.
Note:
After this procedure finishes, there may still be a warning light or fault code displayed until the vehicle has completed a road test.
And the ignition switched off for 10s and on.
There’s No DTC.
The EPS is working normal now.
Perfect done!
The problem was solved.
