This is a tutorial on how to clone Mercedes-Benz VGS-NAG3(9G Tronic) gearbox with Launch X-PROG3 PC Adaptor + X431 GIII on bench. You can also do the same process with X431 ECU & TCU Programmer if having one.
Open X-PROG3 PC Adaptor software,
Search ECU model:
Mercedes, C180 2012-2018, M274. 920 1991 207, VGS-NAG3 (9G Tronic)
Connect X-PROG3 PC Adaptor, X431 GIII& gearbox according to wiring diagram in “Direct connection of diagram”.
Click “Connect” once finished.

Click “Read complete data”.
Reading all data…
Save VGS-NAG3 data file.
Disconnect and reconnect to another gearbox.
Click “Read complete data” again.
Write complete data >> Load data file
Write all data completed.
Mercedes-Benz VGS-NAG3 gearbox clone was done.
