Using LAUNCH X431 PRO ELITE with XPROG3(GIII) to clone DQ200, it can read EEPROM and Flash data without any problem. But when I prepare to restore, it shows a message that I must use USB connection: “To Ensure Normal Data Writing, Use a USB Cable For Communication”. How should I use USB connection?
Solution:
When flashing the car computer, we recommend using USB connection because of the large amount of data to be read. Connect XPROG3 to the VCI of the diagnostic device (DBSCar VII or SmartLink) via a one-to-two main cable, and then connect the diagnostic device and VCI via a wired connection.
If you insist on using Bluetooth connection, you can try to roll back the XPROG3 version. Open the software update page, select the old version number, and reinstall the old version software.
