Launch X431 Pro5 Failed to Connect with Smartbox Solution

Problem:

My Launch X431 Pro5 scanner cannot communicate with the smartbox 3.0. The scanner will not read vehicle automatically.

Error

“Vehicle identification failed, the reason is scanning is not supported, please try again or use manual selection.”

Try manual selection, same result.

Any idea?

If Pro5 failed to connect with smartbox, do a firmware fix, then try again.

Go to User Info->Firmware Fix-> Press Firmware Fix ->Scan bluetooth connector
